Although nowadays the film shootings are slowly being scheduled, there is still a lot of damage to heal from.

AP CM Jagan to rescue afflicted Tollywood film industry

Everything was going smooth in the Tollywood Film Industry until the COVID-19 pandemic struck and has shaken its foundation completely by several appalling outcomes. Ever since the lockdown, film crews and actors with no choice but to quit their jobs, some have no financial support to back them up while some are privileged enough to support themselves and others around them. Although nowadays the film shootings are slowly being scheduled, there is still a lot of damage to heal from.

To make things more relaxed and convenient for the people of the Telugu film industry, the AP Government is coming forward to back up several financial aspects to support the unprivileged and afflicted, along with grants and considerations for the industry as well. 

As AP CM YS Jagan has declared, this " Restart Package" is to restore the Tollywood industry and help get back on its feet. Reports have confirmed that an approximate sum of Rs. 4.18 Crores is being financed for this afflicted industry.
