Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are expecting their second child

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are going to be parents again. The couple announced on Wednesday, October 7, through a joint Instagram post, that they are expecting their second child.

Their daughter Saraayah is part of the announcement picture, which shows a pair of tiny white knitted booties. "Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all… Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude," the caption read. The couple also used baby socks when they shared the news of their first pregnancy.

Wishes poured in from fans and the film industry. Bhumi Pednekar was among the stars who congratulated the pair in the comments.

Saraayah was born on July 15, 2025. Kiara has spoken openly about how motherhood changed her. On Raj Shamani's podcast she said she feels like a "completely different person" now, and in another conversation about getting back to work she called herself "more of a tigress".

The two met on the sets of the 2021 war drama Shershaah. Sidharth played Captain Vikram Batra in the film and Kiara played Dimple Cheema. They married in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on February 7, 2023.

On the work front, Kiara was recently seen with Yash in Toxic. Sidharth's latest release is Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, a folklore thriller in which he stars with Tamannaah Bhatia.
