Kajal Aggarwal says she asked husband Gautam Kitchlu to live with his parents

Kajal Aggarwal wanted to live in a joint family after her wedding, and she told her husband so early on. "I told my husband Gautam my desire to live with his parents after marriage," the actress said.

The wish goes back to her own childhood. Kajal grew up in a joint family with her grandparents, and she said she treasures the love and closeness of living under one roof.

She wants the same for her child: a home with grandparents and other relatives close at hand.

Gautam Kitchlu was surprised when she first brought it up. He came round, though, and agreed to respect her wish.

Her comments have won praise from fans on social media.
