Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The Malayalam version had two lead roles in the film. After Pawan Kalyan gave his nod for the film, there was curiosity about the second lead in it. Sithara Entertainments has acquired the rights for the remake. Saagar Chandra was roped in to direct the film. The moviemakers were puzzled as to who will fit for the role of second lead in the movie.
Trivikram, who is penning dialogues for the movie, also started looking into the script. The moviemakers searched rigorously for finding the right kind of actor to pair up with Pawan. The latest news is that Pawan has asked the moviemakers to change the script that sees Pawan as the only lead in the movie. Furthermore, he even as the movie team to change the supporting role into an antagonist. Saagar Chandra is currently working with the script team to bring those changes. The movie shooting is set to launch next year and is eyeing Summer release.
