Farhan Akhtar's Toofan To Opt For An OTT Release

Farhan Akhtar's Toofan was scheduled to be released in September last year. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the theatrical release never happened for this film. Now after around five months, a report revealed that filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has chosen to release the film on an OTT platform and dodge the theatrical release completely. Toofan will now be released on the OTT Platform giant Amazon Prime Video.

To state some insights on the film Toofan, Farhan Akhtar will be portraying the role of a boxer in the sports drama. Knowing Farhan for his impeccable and slick acting, he will absorb into the role and give us an impressive performance. The film will additionally be starring Paresh Rawal and Mrunal Thakur playing prominent roles. 

Toofan is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar himself. Another special element in this film is that the music direction is done by the spectacular symphonic trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and Raju Singh.
