Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Sudheer Reddy wins captaincy as Agnipariksha batch misses out
Sudheer Reddy won the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 captaincy by finishing a ship-building task first with Jhansi's help, while Jhansi's magic power saved her from nominations and the Agnipariksha group was left disappointed.
Sudheer Reddy is the new captain of the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house. He finished the final stage of the captaincy task ahead of everyone and received the gold medal that goes with the title.
The day began with a tough call. Mukesh and Jhansi, and Shalini and Rohit, were the two weakest pairs, so Bigg Boss ruled that only one person from each pair could keep playing while the other sat in the danger zone. Jhansi offered to take the risk so Mukesh could stay safe. Shalini was ready to do the same, but Rohit stepped into the danger zone himself and let her play.
Next came a task called Flip Chey, Face Chey. Housemates turned over tiles and had to complete the challenge hidden underneath, with Debjani and Jhansi acting as sanchalaks. Ram Prasad and Naresh won, but only one of them could be saved. Ram Prasad went safe and Naresh slid into nomination danger.
Seven housemates qualified for captaincy: Sudheer, Vamsi, Varshini, Aman, Trigun, Ram Prasad and Debjani. Jhansi used her magic power to escape this week's nominations, though it cost her a shot at the captaincy.
Bigg Boss then asked the seven to drop two names. Varshini and Aman were put forward, and a discussion between Aman and Rohit turned into arguments with other contestants. In the end Bigg Boss settled it himself, sending Sudheer, Vamsi, Trigun, Ram Prasad and Debjani into the contest.
In the ship task, the five pulled parts out of bean bags and built a ship to match a given model. Trigun and Debjani went out in the first round. Sudheer then beat Vamsi and Ram Prasad, and with Jhansi helping him in the last stage, he raced to the finish.
After the win, Sudheer touched Ram Prasad's feet. The Agnipariksha group looked crushed that none of their own had won, and Sudheer pointed this out to Ram Prasad.
