Thief takes cash counter from Bigg Boss 16 star Archana Gautam's Mumbai cafe

A thief broke into Archana Gautam's Mumbai cafe, Oye Churros, early on Tuesday, October 6, and walked off with the whole cash counter. The Bigg Boss 16 star posted the CCTV footage on Instagram and asked her followers to keep a close watch on the safety of their own homes and businesses.

In an update on her Instagram story, Archana said the break-in happened between 5 am and 6 am. Her post said the man damaged the cafe before leaving with the counter. She also asked why, out of all the cafes in the city, he picked hers.

She has filed an FIR. Archana asked the Mumbai Police to find the man quickly and take legal action against him.

The cafe means a lot to her. Archana said she paid for it with her own savings and put every piece of it together herself, with plenty of love and hard work. She opened it in 2025.

Mumbai had always felt like a safe city to her, she wrote, so the theft left her very sad. She ended her post by asking people to stay alert, stay safe and pay attention to the security around them.

Archana became famous through Bigg Boss 16. After the show, she took part in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Celebrity MasterChef.
