Following the historic pan-Indian success of his recent blockbuster, "Jawan," rising Tamil filmmaker Atlee has solidified his position as one of the most sought-after directors in the country. Amidst widespread speculation surrounding his next project, Atlee, known for his cinematic prowess, is yet to make a formal announcement.

In a recent interview, Atlee provided insights into his much-anticipated collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth. Expressing his immense admiration for Rajini, Atlee shared that he entered the film industry after being inspired by Rajini's classic, "Thalapathy." Having previously worked with Rajini on "Enthiran" (Robot) while assisting director Shankar, Atlee disclosed that he has engaged in several story discussions with Rajini, presenting a variety of ideas.

However, Atlee admitted that he is still in the process of finalizing the perfect script for Rajinikanth due to time constraints. He expressed his desire to create something beyond the iconic "Baasha" and shared his aspiration to deliver a film that would be the pinnacle of Rajini's illustrious career, akin to the impact his films had on actors Arya and Vijay. Atlee conveyed Rajini's readiness to collaborate, emphasizing the affectionate nickname, "Kanna" (dear), that Thalaivar fondly uses for him.
