Anupama Parameswaran opens up on a toxic past relationship ahead of Crazy Kalyanam

Anupama Parameswaran has spoken openly about a past relationship she described as toxic, saying it caused her humiliation and emotional distress. She did not name the person during the YouTube interview.

The actress blamed the other person's narcissistic behaviour and said the relationship had taken away her ability to live happily and freely.

On breakups, she took a gentler line. "A breakup is also a part of life," she said, adding that the way people walk away from someone and grow into better versions of themselves starts with that ending. "That is why, in my view, even that can be beautiful."

Her attention is now firmly on work. She is busy promoting Crazy Kalyanam, her next release, which arrives in theatres on October 16.
