Roohi Afzana (2021)

Storyline

After Amar Kaushik's 2018 released movie 'Stree' starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor which became a blockbuster at the box office, 'Roohi' came out as the second offering from the same production house. But, 'Stree' has set the benchmark for all the horror comedies in Bollywood way too high. Though it is not right to compare Roohi with Stree, as both the movies dwell in the same world of witches, one cannot stop drawing parallels between these two films. Also, Rajkummar Rao played the lead in both the movies. 'Roohi' garnered a good pre-release buzz and the trailer of the movie hinted that movie is going to give both thrills as well as laughs at the same time. The audience have been expecting a good dose of entertainment from the movie. The movie which was supposed to get released in June 2020 got postponed because of the pandemic and finally made it to the theatres recently on March 11th, 2021.
