K. Rishi Kumar (Mahesh Babu) always had his priorities clear and his ultimate goal is to make it big in the software Industry. He never had a smooth and simple relationship with his dad, K. Satyanarayana (Prakash Raj). During his college days, he befriends Ravi (Allari Naresh) and Pooja (Pooja Hegde). In no time, Ravi becomes his best friend and Rishi starts dating Pooja. But his behavior and decisions begin to strain his relationship with his friends. He breaks up with Pooja thinking that she will be an inconvenience in his path to achieving his goal. He also stops talking to Ravi over a misunderstanding. On the day of the campus interviews, Rishi is blamed that he stole the examination papers - a plan designed by Ajay (Kamal Kaamaraj) who is jealous of Rishi. Soon, the police declare Rishi innocent and he walks away. Years later, Rishi becomes the CEO of an American company. His success did not come without pain. His father dies and Rishi regrets not spending enough time with him. He learns that Ravi took the blame on himself so that Rishi could make it big. This led to turmoil in Ravi's life. Pooja hates him for being so selfish. He comes to India and learns from Ravi that his village is going to be evacuated so that a company could start drilling oil pipelines there. Ravi wants to save his village. To help Ravi, Rishi goes against Industrialist Vivek Mittal (Jagapathi babu) to stop the process.
