Vishal Dadlani is an Indian film music director and playback singer. He has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi films. He has done cameo roles in Om Shanti Om and Tees Maar Khan. He has also performed at several colleges and institutions. Vishal Dadlani is the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. Vishal was one of the first Indian celebrities to openly support the Aam Aadmi Party.  He mostly does music along with Shekhar Ravjiani and the duo popularly known as "Vishal-Shekhar". They shot to fame for the songs like Jhankaar Beats, Dus, Bluffmaster, Om Shanti Om, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Happy New Year and more. He was seen as one of the judges in singing reality show Indian Idol Junior 2. He collaborated with Imogen Heap on the song "Minds Without Fear" for an episode of The Dewarists. The duo Vishal-Shekhar rose to fame when they composed the score for the film Jhankaar Beats which included the song "Tu Aashiqui Hai".
