Director Nag Ashwin recently shared in an interview that filming for the sequel is scheduled to kick off in mid-June 2025, much to the joy of fans.

Amidst all the excitement, lead actress Deepika Padukone welcomed a baby girl and is currently taking some well-deserved time off. With no new projects on her plate yet, the Kalki team is eagerly waiting for her to confirm her availability so they can make shooting plans.

With industry icons like Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas also on board, scheduling around their busy calendars is key before moving forward with production.
