Nithiin

Nithiin Kumar Reddy, known on screen as Nithiin, is an actor and producer in Telugu cinema. Fans also call him Nithin or Nitin. He is best remembered for the love stories Ishq (2012) and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), along with A Aa (2016). His top honour is the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South, which he earned for Jayam (2002). Jayam (2002) was his first film, and it drew big crowds. Audiences also turned out for Dil (2003), Sye (2004) and Sri Anjaneyam (2004). Several years of weak results came next, until Ishq (2012) turned things around and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013) built on that revival. In 2014 he had two more hits, Heart Attack and Chinnadana Nee Kosam. A Aa arrived in 2016, Bheeshma won fans in 2020, and Maestro came out in 2021. A quieter stretch then set in. In 2022 he played the lead in Macherla Niyojakavargam, in 2023 he starred in Extra - Ordinary Man and Thammudu, and in 2025 he returned with Robinhood. Nithiin is closely linked with romantic roles. Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde each brought him a Filmfare nomination for Best Actor – Telugu, and Bheeshma earned him a SIIMA nomination in the same category in 2020. He also sang in Victory (2008). In 2013 he set up the production house Shresht Movies, which produced Akhil (2015). He promotes the Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive in Telangana.
