Manisha Koirala is an Nepalese Actress. She predominantly works in Indian Cinema, She appeared in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu Film Industries. She began her career as a model and moved to Bollywood film industry. She is a well trained classical dancer, known for her skills in Bharatnatyam and Manipuri.Manisha Koirala made her acting debut with Nepali film "Pheri Bhetaula" in the year 1989. She made her acting debut with the Hindi Film "Saudagar". Koirala was appointed as a "UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador" in the year 1999.She is also actively participated in social works, specifically working with the organizations to promote "women rights", prevention of violence against the women and also to prevent the 'human trafficking of Nepali girls for prostitution'. She had Nominated four times for 'FilmFare Award' for Best Actress. She has received three 'Filmfare Critics' Award'.
