Amitabh Bachchan is an Indian film Actor, Producer, Playback singer and Television presenter. He predominantly works in Bollywood film industry. He made his debut with the Bollywood film "Saat Hindustani" in the year 1969. He first gained the popularity in early 1970's for the films such as Zanjeer and Deewaar.He is famously known as "Shahenshah of Bollywood", "Star of millennium" or "Big B". He has appeared in over 200 films. He made his debut with the Hollywood film "The Great Gatsby" in the year 2013. He has hosted the first season of "Kaun Banega Crorepathi" (KBC). He was honored with Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan for Government of India.He has also hosted the third season of television show "Bigg Boss". He is also brand ambassador for Gujarat tourism since 2010. Bachchan is well known for his deep and baritone voice. He has been narrator, Playback singer and presenter for numerous programmes. He has also involved in social works and has also donated lakhs of rupees. He was been named has "Hottest Vegetarian" by "PETA India" in the year 2012. He has also won the title of "Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian" in a contest poll run by "PETA Asia". He has received numerous awards in his career, he has received four National Film Awards for Best Actor and fifteen FilmFare Awards for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. He was honored with an Honorary Doctorate by many universities.
