Storyline

The story is set in 2898 AD, some six thousand years after the Kurukshetra war. Earth is a barren wasteland, and Kashi is humanity's last city. Supreme Yaskin rules it from the Complex, a floating pyramid open only to the rich, while women from the poor outskirts are taken for his experiments. One of them, SUM-80, breaks free while carrying a child. Rebels name her Sumathi and guide her toward the hidden refuge of Shambhala. The cursed, immortal Ashwatthama sees in her his last chance to make up for an old sin. Bhairava, a selfish mercenary, wants the reward on her head so he can enter the Complex.
