In the gangster action drama "Mark Antony," Vishal took on a dual role, and the Tamil version of the film is enjoying exceptional success, poised to soon join the 100 crores gross club. The film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, also stars SJ Suryah, who also portrayed two distinct characters in the movie.
SJ Suryah played the roles of Jackie Pandian (the father) and Madhan Pandian (the son) in the film. What's intriguing is that initially, director Adhik had considered casting Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap for the role of Madhan Pandian. Anurag Kashyap has also made appearances in a few Bollywood films like "Happy New Year," "Imaikkal Nodigal," and "Luck By Chance."
However, due to SJ Suryah's strong desire to tackle both roles himself, the director made adjustments to the character. SJ Suryah has been earning praise from all quarters for his outstanding performance in the film. "Mark Antony" was produced by S. Vinod Kumar, with Ritu Varma playing the leading lady opposite Vishal.
