The Traitors Telugu trailer out: Teja Sajja hosts 20 celebrities on Prime Video

Prime Video has released the trailer for The Traitors Telugu. It is the Telugu edition of the popular global reality format, and the game is built on secret identities, trust and betrayal. Actor Teja Sajja leads the show as host. This is his first step into reality television.

The trailer brings 20 celebrities from different fields into one game. The line-up includes Chinmayee Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi Mahavadi, Shreedevi Chowdary, Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, Vidyu Raman, Vishnu Oi, Shravya Varma, Dr Meghanath Reddy and Mouneesha Chowdary. Joining them are Sweekar Agasthi, Ashika Padukone, Varsha D'Souza, Pranav aka Abhinavakavi, SS Vardhan, Rahat Achanta, Gaurav Sunil, Sai Ronak, Puppala Dhanunjaya and Phalguni Bangera.

The rules sound simple. The Innocents must find the Traitors hidden among them. The Traitors must quietly remove their rivals without giving themselves away. The trailer hints at accusations, secret alliances and friendships that may not be what they seem, but it holds back enough to keep the mystery alive.

The trailer shows Teja in a stylish new look, staying calm and in control as the contestants turn on each other. Reports say the actor described hosting as something completely new for him and said he was excited to try something different. He also reportedly called the Telugu edition a big moment for the local industry, and said the game was so unpredictable that it kept even him guessing.

The 10-episode series is produced by SOL Production and streams only on Prime Video, in Telugu with English subtitles. New episodes arrive every Thursday at 12 noon IST. The show reportedly follows the success of The Traitors Hindi Season 2, which is said to have become the number one non-English title worldwide on Prime Video in its launch week.
