The Producer Has Just Revealed The Details On Suriya And Vetrimaaran's Upcoming Film Vaadivaasal.

Suriya and director Vetrimaaran’s much-awaited project Vaadivaasal has faced significant delays, primarily due to the director’s extended commitment to the Viduthalai franchise. The film, which centers around Tamil Nadu’s iconic traditional sport, Jallikattu, generated immense excitement when it was first announced. However, repeated postponements left fans disappointed and eager for updates.

Suriya’s recent form has also been a topic of discussion among fans, who have urged the actor to prioritize Vaadivaasal. Finally, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has broken the silence on the status of the project during promotions for Kichcha Sudeep’s Max. He revealed, “Suriya sir was ready, but he was waiting for Vetrimaaran to complete Viduthalai.”

He further added, “Now that Viduthalai has been released, Vetrimaaran will shift his full focus to Vaadivaasal. The animatronics work is currently in its final stages in London, and the film will commence production soon.” The director is determined to dedicate more time to pre-production to ensure everything is perfect. Meanwhile, Suriya will begin work on Vaadivaasal after completing his ongoing project with RJ Balaji.
