Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' Set For Massive Worldwide Release On Diwali

Leo, the much-awaited gangster drama starring Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has become one of the most eagerly anticipated Indian movies of 2023. With filming nearing completion, fans are eagerly awaiting its release, which has been scheduled to coincide with the festive season of Diwali on October 19. In a recent interview, one of the film's producers, SS Lalit Kumar, disclosed that Leo is set to have a staggering release on 1,500 screens out of the 3,000 plus screens available in the USA and Canada. This massive release marks a significant achievement for any South Indian film in the North American region, indicating the immense popularity and anticipation surrounding Leo.

Furthermore, Lalit Kumar shared that the team had initially considered dubbing Leo in English to expand its reach in foreign countries. However, due to time constraints, this plan had to be dropped. Nonetheless, with the star-studded cast including Trisha, Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt, and the musical brilliance of composer Anirudh Ravichander, Leo promises to captivate audiences with its high-octane action and gripping storyline.
