Sushmita Bags Filmfare OTT Awards

Filmfare came up with OTT awards and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has bagged the best female actor in a drama series for her Disney plus Hotstar web series 'Aarya'. It was the first-ever Filmfare OTT Awards and the year 2020 was taken as the base year for nominations. The former Miss Universe shared this news to her fans on social media by posting her delight on Instagram and Twitter. In the postings she can be seen sitting along holding the awards and announcing the news with the caption, "This completes the 'Comeback', 'Aarya' all the love!!!" Thanked everyone associated. She also added that she has received 'The Best Actor in a Drama Series Female' at the first-ever Filmfare OTT Awards 2020.

She further thanked the crew of 'Aarya' and wrote that she was grateful to the entire AaryaFamily and declared that THE BLACK LADY is theirs. Incidentally, the day she received the award was her father's birthday as well, so it was a double celebration for the actress. The Sushmita Sen starrer 'Aarya' has been co-created by Sandeep Modi and Ram Madhvani. This series was made based on 'Penoza', which is a Dutch drama series. Alongside the beautiful and talented actress, the cast included names like Chandarchur Singh, Namita Das, Sikander Kher, among several others.
