Suhas and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy team up for Hide & Silk, title glimpse out
Suhas plays the lead in Hide & Silk, directed by debutant Rajendra Bala and the first Telugu film from Stone Bench Studio. A title glimpse shows him weaving a saree on a loom.
Suhas has a new film called Hide & Silk, and the makers have unveiled its title with a glimpse built around a saree.
In the glimpse, Suhas sits at a traditional loom weaving a saree, which ties straight back to the title. Tanikella Bharani's voice runs over the images. His narration carries one idea: every saree has a woman it is meant for, as if the fabric picks the person who will wear it.
The film is Stone Bench Studio's first step into one report. The banner, led by Karthikeyan Santhanam, plans four Telugu films, and this one opens that slate. It is being produced together with Vartika Jain of Misrilall Pictures.
Rajendra Bala makes his debut as a director with Hide & Silk. Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, known for Lubber Pandhu and DC, plays the female lead opposite Suhas, who comes into the project after the blockbuster success of Mandaadi.
Amrit Ramnath is composing the music. Karthik Palani is the cinematographer.
