SIR/Vaathi, a bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil featuring Dhanush in the lead role, has been a tremendous success in theatres. According to the makers, the film has become the highest-grossing movie in the actor's career. Venky Atluri has directed the film, which marks Dhanush's debut in Telugu cinema. Samyukta Menon played the female lead in the movie.

After a fantastic theatrical run, SIR/Vaathi is now available for streaming on Netflix. The movie has already created a buzz on the OTT platform and is trending at the top positions in the Netflix India movies section. The Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions of the film are currently ranked at the first, second, and fourth spots, respectively.

Apart from its commercial success, SIR/Vaathi also carries a strong social message about education. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The movie features several prominent actors, including Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and Hyper Aadi, in pivotal roles.
