The bilingual socio-drama film "Sir" (also known as "Vaathi" in Tamil), starring Dhanush, has recently debuted on Netflix and quickly gained popularity on the OTT platform. In a surprising turn of events, both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie are now trending globally on Netflix.

According to the latest statistics released by Netflix for the week of March 13-19, 2023, "Vaathi" is currently trending at the 9th position in the Non-English category, while "Sir" has settled in the 10th position. The makers are thrilled with this achievement.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film features Samyuktha as the female lead, with Tanikella Bharani, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadhi, and others in key roles. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, "Sir" has GV Prakash Kumar as the music director.
