Salman Khan wants jail for fake AI video makers on Bigg Boss 20

Salman Khan used the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20 to speak out against the misuse of artificial intelligence. He called for jail for people who knowingly make fake AI videos. The host also asked for stricter laws and tighter control over what gets shared on social media.

Salman explained how AI tools can copy a person's voice and make them seem to say abusive or offensive things. He pointed out that many people forward such clips without knowing the content is fake. He said he was worried about the harm these videos can do to the people shown in them.

He kept his strongest words for those who make such clips on purpose. "Those kinds of people should be put behind bars," Salman said. He then argued for new laws, adding, "There has to be a law that should be passed, there has to be a censorship on social media."

This is the second week in a row that the host has used the stage to take on online behaviour. A week earlier, he went after paparazzi, body-shamers and trolls. Inside the house, the episode also saw Isha Rikhi, wife of Badshah, become the second contestant to be evicted from Bigg Boss 20.

Away from the reality show, Salman reportedly has Maatrubhumi lined up, with Chitrangda Singh alongside him and a 2026 release planned. Telugu fans have more reason to follow his calendar: his action film with producer Dil Raju has reportedly been titled Monster. Vamshi Paidipally is directing the pan-India project, which also stars Nayanthara and is reportedly aiming for an Eid 2027 release.
