Rithu Chowdary laughs off Demon Pavan's breakup post: 'Were we lovers?'

Bigg Boss favourites Demon Pavan and Rithu Chowdary have parted ways, and the two could not sound more different about it. Pavan announced the split in a long, emotional social media post, while Rithu has waved the whole thing away and taken aim at the online noise around it.

In his post, Pavan said the pair had been fighting a lot and that he could no longer put up with the constant quarrels. He wrote that the two had blocked each other, reportedly on WhatsApp and Instagram, and that each would now go their own way. He also declared there would be no more 'Rivan', the name fans gave the duo, and reportedly added that neither of them had used the other. The post spread fast and set off a flood of memes and reaction videos.

Rithu answered with posts of her own, and she did not hold back. Every friendship has its fights, she said, so why call this a breakup? She asked whether they were lovers, or whether they had ever announced a marriage. She then turned on the people making videos, reviews and even vlogs about the matter, asking if they had nothing better to do and whether they never fought with their own friends. She closed on a cheeky note, thanking everyone for the 25,000 followers she gained in a single day.

In a further post, she reportedly said Trigun was far better than those chasing likes and views, and asked fans to vote for him. She told the meme makers to point their cameras at their own families and do something useful instead.

The two met inside the Bigg Boss house and stayed close after coming out. According to reports, they appeared together at events and dance shows and recorded album songs, and one of their songs drew a huge response on YouTube. That closeness fed talk that they were dating and might marry, and Pavan's post reportedly insisted they were never lovers.

With Pavan sounding hurt and Rithu laughing it off, fans are confused. Some suspect the fallout could be a publicity stunt for a new song or project. Either way, followers of the Rivan pair are unhappy to see them split.
