Ravi Teja and Vivek Athreya unveil Thulabharam with a title video

Ravi Teja's next film is Thulabharam, directed by Vivek Athreya. The makers announced the title with a video that introduces the main cast.

The four-minute video is billed as a title documentary. It plays out as a conversation between the hero, Anaswara Rajan, Tharun Bhascker, JD Chakravarthy and Priyanka Arul Mohan, and it gives away very little about where the story is headed.

Athreya explained why he chose this format. He said he wants viewers to know the genre well before release, because audiences took Saripodhaa Sanivaaram for a superhero film and Ante Sundaraniki for a comedy. This time, he said, he does not want people walking in with the wrong idea.

Ravi Teja takes on the project after the box office success of Irumudi. For the Brochevarevarura director, Thulabharam is his next film after Nani's Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which released more than two years ago.

The actor shared the video on X on October 11 and told fans he would see them in theatres again soon.
