Ranbir Kapoor sings 'Kabira' with Harshdeep Kaur at a Mumbai Durga Puja pandal

Ranbir Kapoor stepped onto the stage at Mumbai's North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal and sang 'Kabira' with singer Harshdeep Kaur. The song is a favourite from his 2013 hit 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

Microphone in hand, the actor joined in as Harshdeep led the song. When they finished, she asked the crowd to give Ranbir a round of applause. Clips of the unplanned duet spread fast online, and fans were happy to hear him return to the track more than ten years after the film came out.

Ranbir came to the pandal during the Navratri celebrations, wearing a red-and-gold kurta with white pyjamas. He prayed before Goddess Durga, posed for photographers and spent time with his filmmaker friend Ayan Mukerji, whose family has hosted the celebrations for decades.

Next, the actor plays Lord Ram in director Nitesh Tiwari's two-part 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend'. Sai Pallavi plays Sita and Yash plays Ravana. The film is set to reach theatres on November 5.
