Ranabaali crosses $52K in North America premiere pre-sales, four days before release

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Ranabaali has made about $52,000 from premiere advance bookings in North America. Four days are still left before the film reaches theatres.

Rahul Sankrityan directs this Telugu period action drama, which opens on October 16. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar produce it under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Arnold Vosloo also has a part in the cast.

The pre-sales figure covers only the premiere shows, so the number can still grow a lot as the opening gets closer. Overseas, the Telugu version comes out first. Reports say the dubbed versions follow a week later, on October 23.

Ranabaali will not have the week to itself. Rajinikanth's Tamil film Jailer 2 opens one day earlier, on October 15, so two star-led films arrive in cinemas back to back.
