Ramayana, Nitesh Tiwari's two-part retelling of the epic, opens in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026. Advance bookings start on October 20, 2026, the day of Dussehra.

Ranbir Kapoor leads as Lord Ram, with Yash playing Ravana. Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey are also in the cast, and Namit Malhotra is producing. The November release is the first of the two parts.

The makers announced the date during Navratri and teased the film with the line "Yeh Ram ke Yug ka Aarambh hai." They also said it will play across all premium formats.

Fans may get new footage soon. Reports say a second trailer is planned for Dussehra, the same day ticket sales open, and that it will put the spotlight on Ranbir as Ram and Yash as Ravana.
