Rakul aimed for a bold role in her next flick!

After a series of unsuccessful films, looks like Rakul Preet Singh is all set to ricochet her film career with a new Bollywood flick titled 'Chhatriwali'. This might even be one of the boldest roles played by her ever since her film career began. Rakul will be portraying the role of a condom tester in this upcoming film. 'Chhatriwala' is said to be a risqué-comedy entertainer and it will be directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies.

In a recent interview with an entertainment media, Rakul Preet Singh has opened up about her feelings about this upcoming bawdy yet bold role. Not to mention, this same role was turned down by Bollywood's newbies Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey. Rakul stated, “It’s very exciting and I am very thrilled about that film because it’s important to sort of highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited."

The shoot for 'Chhatriwali' will begin once the massive chaos and glitches of the pandemic calm down.
