Priyanka Chopra Starrer 'Matrix 4' To Clash With Ranveer Singh's '83 During Christmas 2021

Ranveer Singh starrer ’83 is finally set for a theatrical release on December 24, coinciding with the festive time of Christmas. Arriving around the same time is Priyanka Chopra and Keanu Reeves starrer ‘The Matrix Resurrections’.

’83 is a commercial sports drama directed by Kabir Khan and will narrate the story of the Indian cricket team’s victory at the World Cup in 1983. It attributes a power packed cast with stars like Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Sahil Khattar, Harrdy Sandhu and others who aim the lead. ‘83 will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is a science fiction action drama starring Keanu Reeves, Jada Pinkett Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris and Priyanka Chopra Jonas among others. While ‘Matrix 4’ is set to release on December 22 in theatres and a streaming platform, ’83 will have a worldwide release two days later, on December 24.

It is indeed going to be a power packed tussle at the Box Office during Christmas. While Ranveer and Priyanka are set to lock horns this year, they have previously successfully shared the frame in hits like ‘Gunday’ and ‘Dik Dhadakne Do’.
