On October 25, 2024, the highly anticipated Telugu film *Pottel* will hit theaters. Starring Yuva Chandraa Krishna, Ananya Nagalla, and Ajay in key roles, the film is penned and directed by the talented Sahit Mothkhuri.

The recently released trailer offers a powerful and emotionally resonant glimpse into the narrative, showcasing the director’s authenticity. Set in 1980, *Pottel* tells the moving story of a father determined to secure an education for his daughter, believing it could change her life. However, their dreams are thwarted by a prominent figure in the village, who opposes their aspirations due to their differing social statuses. Compounding their struggles, the father—a humble shepherd—accidentally loses a sacred goat, which provokes the powerful villager, who then threatens to sacrifice the girl as punishment. The gripping trailer, complemented by a haunting soundtrack, enhances the story's emotional weight, while the visuals are both striking and impactful. Audiences will need to wait for the film's release to fully experience its depth.

The filmmakers are optimistic that this raw and genuine tale, set in a Vidarbha village in Telangana, will resonate with viewers. Produced by Nishank Reddy Kudithi and Suresh Kumar Sadige, *Pottel* features stunning cinematography by Monish Bhupathi Raju and evocative music by Shekar Chandra.
