Director Srikanth Addala, known for his sensible filmmaking, received accolades for handling "Narappa," the official remake of "Asuran." Now, he is all set to bring a rustic action drama to the screen with "Pedhha Kapu 1," starring Virat Karrna and Pragathi Srivastava in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on September 29.

The makers have announced that the theatrical trailer will be unveiled on September 11 to heighten the anticipation. Director Srikanth Addala shared a video where he disclosed the movie's core theme through a note in the announcement video. The film is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations, known for delivering the massive blockbuster "Akhanda."

The teaser and the first single from the film have already struck a chord with the audience. "Pedhha Kapu 1," centered around themes of oppression and confrontation, features music by Mickey J. Meyer and cinematography by Chota K Naidu.
