Kayadu Lohar joins The Paradise promotions ahead of release

Kayadu Lohar has finally stepped into the promotional campaign for Nani's The Paradise. The actress plays the female lead, but she had been missing from most of the film's publicity so far. She did not appear in either of the two released songs and skipped the promotional events held in Kochi, Chennai and Bengaluru.

Nani had earlier said the reason was simple, that Kayadu was busy shooting for a Tamil film. With the pre-release event now close, she met the media in Hyderabad and posed happily for photographers. She also chatted with reporters and asked them when they were planning to watch the film, saying she is excited about The Paradise and eager to see how audiences react.

Speaking about her leading man, Kayadu had high praise for his dedication. She pointed out that Nani will be seen with dreadlocks in the film, and that acting and performing action sequences in that look is not easy at all. In her words, he worked very hard for this film and his commitment is impeccable, and she called his journey inspiring and said she learned a lot from him.

Asked about her favourite parts of the film, she picked the characterisations written by director Srikanth Odela. Nani's character is her favourite, and she also finds the roles of Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal very interesting. She believes all of these characters will blast in the theatre.

On her own role, named Subbu, Kayadu stayed tight-lipped to protect the suspense. She said there are many surprises about the part that audiences have to see on the big screen, and that it is very different from anything she has done before. She also described producer Sudhakar Cherukuri as relaxed, jovial and extremely straightforward.

The Paradise is an action drama directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on a massive scale, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The songs have already built strong buzz and expectations are sky high. The film releases on 24 September, with premieres a day earlier on 23 September. Kayadu says it will be a complete commercial package.
