Pan-Indian sensation Prabhas and acclaimed filmmaker Nag Ashwin have joined forces for the creation of "Kalki 2898 AD," a mytho sci-fi extravaganza. Adding to the star power, Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone takes on the lead female role.

In September 2023, the production faced a setback with the unauthorized release of on-set stills. Despite stern warnings, fresh movie footage surfaced online, unveiling the challenges the team encountered in safeguarding content confidentiality. Vyjayanthi Movies, grappling with multiple leaks, launched investigations to identify those responsible, raising fan concerns about the overall security measures implemented by the team.

A stellar cast including Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Padupathy, and other luminaries assumes pivotal roles in this high-budget film crafted by Vyjayanthi Movies. The musical narrative of this ambitious Pan-Indian venture is orchestrated by the talented Santhosh Narayanan.
