Jr NTR vows legal action over obscene AI morph of Devara song Chuttamalle

Jr NTR has come out swinging against a morphed video that uses artificial intelligence to distort footage from Chuttamalle, the hit Devara song that features him alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The clip reportedly twists the song into sexually explicit material, and it has been circulating on social media, harming the dignity of the actress.

The actor posted his response on X on October 3, 2026, and he did not hold back. He called the act "disgusting, sick and shameless" and pointed out that in a culture shaped by the idea of Matrudevo Bhava, where women are revered as mothers and goddesses, some people have sunk to using AI to degrade a woman. Making something this vile with the technology, he said, is shameful beyond description.

NTR then turned directly to the people responsible, branding them scumbags and declaring, "I will not spare any of you." He said he would pursue every legal route open to him, not only against those who made the video but also against everyone spreading it. He also asked the public to stay away from the clip entirely and not to watch, share or engage with it in any way.

Driving home the bigger danger, the star warned that while the target today is someone else, tomorrow it could be anyone's mother, sister, wife or daughter. Calling it a serious issue, he urged all the state governments and the Government of India to act firmly and bring in strict rules against the misuse of AI.

The episode is part of a wider problem, with reports noting that many actresses have been targeted by objectionable AI content created only to chase cheap engagement. With this statement, NTR has put his full weight behind his Devara co-star and the demand for tougher action. On the work front, NTR is reportedly busy with Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel.
