Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has put an end to the buzz linking her to Raaka, the much-awaited film that brings Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Atlee together. The Mollywood star has made it clear that she has no part in the project.

Talk had been doing the rounds that the makers were considering her for a role. Some reports went as far as saying she would play a negative character. In an interview, she brushed the speculation aside but added a cheeky twist. "No, I am not part of the film. Somebody please cast me in the film," she said.

Raaka marks the first time Allu Arjun and Atlee have teamed up. The fantasy action drama is reportedly planned as a two-part epic, with a story said to move across two different eras. The team has kept the plot tightly under wraps, and a teaser that was reportedly released recently has only pushed expectations higher.

According to reports, Deepika Padukone plays the female lead, while Janvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur are said to have key roles. Sun Pictures is reportedly producing the film, and Sai Abyankkar is said to be composing the music.

As for Aishwarya, she is keeping busy. She reportedly stars opposite Arjun Das in the romantic comedy series #Love, which premiered on October 2. She plays Tara, a dating app CEO caught in a modern love tangle. Reports say she was also seen this year in the Malayalam drama thriller Aasha, directed by Safar Sanal, where she played Anagha alongside Urvashi and Joju George. She also returned as Keerthi opposite Vishnu Vishal in the Tamil sports comedy sequel Gatta Kusthi 2.
