Even on the second day, the film maintained its stronghold at the box office.
The collections for "Jawan" reached 46 crores nett (Hindi) on the second day, resulting in a two-day total of 111 crores nett for the Hindi version alone in India. Typically, Bollywood films see higher collections on the second day, but it was a working day in this case, which explains the moderate drop. The advance bookings for the third and fourth days indicate historic figures, and it appears that the film is on track to surpass 230 crores nett in earnings from the Hindi version alone over the weekend.
"Globally, "Jawan" has already grossed over 230 crores in just two days. Regarding box office performance in India, it is outshining "Pathaan." However, when it comes to overseas markets, "Jawan" follows a similar trend to "Pathaan." In just two days, "Jawan" has collected over 10 million dollars (approximately 83 crores) from international countries, while "Pathaan" accumulated around 400 crores from overseas regions during its entire run.
The long-term overseas collections for "Jawan" remain to be seen, but it holds great potential to cross the 500 crores gross mark worldwide by the end of the weekend. With no major releases in the coming weeks, achieving a gross of 1000 crores should be well within reach for this Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
