Janhvi Kapoor In Talks For Tamil Film Debut

After establishing herself in the Hindi film industry, Janhvi Kapoor, the elder daughter of late actress Sridevi and veteran producer Boney Kapoor, is all set to make her debut in the Telugu film industry with Jr NTR and Koratala Siva's pan-India action drama, 'Devara.' Now, according to the latest buzz in the Tamil film circles, Janhvi may soon step into the world of Tamil cinema as well.

Reportedly, the makers of an ongoing film, where actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan is the lead actor, have initiated talks with Janhvi for the female lead role. Sources suggest that director Vignesh Shivan recently met Janhvi and narrated the story and her character. While Janhvi is yet to give her final approval, she is said to be positively inclined towards the offer. Further clarity on Janhvi's potential entry into the project is expected in the coming weeks.

This yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by the legendary Tamil actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan under his banner Raaj Kamal International Films. Notably, Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the music composer for the project.
