Janhvi Kapoor is a popular actress who works predominantly in Bollywood films and is known for her movies like 'Dhadak', 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' etc.  Janhvi Kapoor was born to late legendary actress Sridevi and ace producer Boney Kapoor on 6th March, 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.  Janhvi studied at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. She took an acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California.  Janhvi has one younger sister, Khushi Kapoor. Actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor are her half-siblings. She is the niece of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor.  She made her acting debut in 2018 with 'Dhadak' movie which also became a commercial success. Janhvi Kapoor who has been very experimental in terms of her films did a Netflix horror anthology film, 'Ghost Stories'.  Later, Janhvi starred in the biopic on first ever Indian female combat warrior, Gunjan Saxena and received critical acclaim for her performance. Janhvi Kapoor was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut for 'Dhadak' movie.
