Actor Gopichand and director Sriwass are set to collaborate for the third time with their upcoming film, Rama Banam, which is scheduled to release on May 5, 2023. The film features Dimple Hayathi as the female lead, and the team is currently busy with promotions. In a special interview with director Teja, Gopichand shared several interesting details about his career.

Teja spoke about the unpredictability of success in the film industry, where even films that actors are confident about can fail. Gopichand mentioned that his film Goutham Nanda was one such disappointment for him. However, he also added that with better decisions, the movie could have been even better.

Gopichand appreciated director Sampath Nandi's efforts but felt that the audience did not forgive the film's mistakes. The action-thriller Goutham Nanda, released in 2017, featured Hansika and Catherine Tresa as the female leads, and Gopichand delivered a terrific performance in the film.
