It's been over a year and a half since we saw Akhil Akkineni in "Agent" and the response wasn't great. But that just fueled him to come back stronger than ever! Lately, he's been making appearances with his long, luscious hair on display, sparking rumors about his next project.

The latest buzz on social media is that Akhil might be taking on a lead role in a period drama. Word has it that his dad, Nagarjuna, will be producing the film under Annapurna Studios, with Murali Kishore of "Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha" fame possibly directing. The script is said to be all set and ready to go!
