Dhanush Takes Legal Action Against Nayanthara In Madras High Court

Just a few days before her Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale was set to be released, Lady Superstar Nayanthara found herself in a legal battle with actor Dhanush. It all started when Dhanush demanded Rs. 10 crore for a 3-second clip from his film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan that was used in Nayanthara's documentary.

The tension between the two actors was noticeable at a recent wedding where they avoided each other. Now, Dhanush's production company, Wunderbar Films, has taken legal action by filing a civil suit in the Madras High Court. The lawsuit targets Nayanthara, her husband-director Vignesh Shivan, their company Rowdy Pictures, and Netflix's Indian partner, Los Gatos Production Services, for unauthorized use of visuals from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

The court has decided to proceed with the case as all parties involved fall under its jurisdiction. However, the judge has not yet made a decision on the case's validity.
