Raghava Lawrence's highly-anticipated horror drama, Chandramukhi 2, will have a pan-Indian release during the upcoming Vinayaka Chaturthi festive season in September. The exact release date will be announced soon.

Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 is the 65th project for the senior Tamil filmmaker. The film features Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as the leading lady. The music is composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani. Lyca Productions, a prominent Tamil production house, has backed the project with a significant budget.

Chandramukhi 2 is a sequel to the popular Chandramukhi franchise, which starred Superstar Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyothika, and Nayanthara in the first installment. Released in 2005, the film was a massive blockbuster in Tamil and Telugu. The success of the sequel will be unveiled in September.
