Alongside maintaining consistency, he should also make sure to keep the monetary expectations with his big-budget films. Keeping the stardom of these two actors in RRR adds to it. Though he has got the knack for handling these challenges well, he is likely to take a brain break from large canvas films after RRR.

It is heard that Rajamouli is not planning to work with Mahesh Babu immediately after RRR, but is in the plan of doing a small film before that. Before he goes for a big-ticket film, he tries to read the puls of the audience by taking up a small film. It is his way of keeping the expectations of the audience and the mounting pressure balanced with his work expectations. Needless to say that Rjamouli did the same with Maryada Ramanna and Eega after Magadheera. So if the buzz is true, Rajamouli's next film after RRR is not Mahesh Babu's project but a medium budget film probably with a young actor and a different genre next year.
