Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Ram Prasad wins captaincy after Thrigun's shock move

Ram Prasad is the new captain of the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house, but the latest episode belonged just as much to Thrigun, who handed a win to a rival team and left his own side fuming.

Bigg Boss set up a mud-pit task for the Blue, Green and Gold teams, where contestants fought to grab a ball and drop it into a slot. The first two rounds, with Rohit, Vamsi and RK and then Mukesh, Thrigun and Shiva, produced no winner. Jhansi then won a round for Green, and her team took four chairs from Gold.

The turning point came when Thrigun faced Aman and Shiva. Instead of scoring for Blue, Thrigun gave the ball to Aman and Green took the round. Shalini asked why he had taken her chance to play only to help the other side, and Shiva accused him of collusion. Thrigun admitted nobody had known his plan, and reminded Shalini that she and Rohit had worked together across team lines before.

Several housemates believed he wanted to protect his close friend Vamsi. Thrigun reportedly gave Sudheer a different reason: he did not want Rohit, his own Blue teammate, in the captaincy race. Green went on to take Gold's last three chairs and one from Blue, which knocked Gold out.

When Bigg Boss asked for coin totals, Shiva had the most and earned a contender spot. Neetu objected, saying the whole Gold team had earned those coins.

In the final task, contestants hung on a wall from removable handles that other housemates could pull away. Rohit and Shalini went after Vamsi, and Sudheer targeted Shiva. Ram Prasad had more support from the house and outlasted the rest to win.

Six contestants face the sixth-week elimination, Ram Prasad among them, along with Rohit, Vamsi, Varshini, Aman and Shalini. Nagarjuna returns for the weekend episode to question the housemates on how they behaved in the tasks.
