Bigg Boss 5: The Golden Chicken task flares rivalry between Sunny and Priya

This episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the aftereffects of the horrid nominations task. Everyone in the house, especially Siri and Priyanka, is shaken up because of the rigged game that Sunny has played. It is obvious that everyone would be criticizing him as he used Priya's nominations to project his own grudges by "speaking up" on behalf of the now eliminated Swetha. It has come to a point where even Sunny's best friend Maanas has to tell him that the former is wrong.

The next day, Bigg Boss announces this week's captaincy contender task. This peculiar task has a humungous chicken in the garden area that lays eggs. All the housemates must play individual games and procure as many eggs as possible in their designated baskets. The winners of this task are probably the ones who have the top 4 majority eggs.

As the task begins, the big chicken lays eggs, and the contestants strive to collect them. In the second round, the garden area is showered with more eggs that the contestants enthusiastically collect. As the task goes on, a few contestants like Kajal and Siri give up on collecting eggs and fixate on stealing them from others. The already tainted relationship between Priya and Sunny gets more bad as they both get into a verbal dispute with each other. Things don't seem well with Siri and Jessie too as the former complaints about getting fake accusations from Jessie and Shanmukh.
