Bigg Boss 5: Siri becomes the first ever captain of this season!

This heaty episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the housemates waking up twice to the warning sirens as Kajal was asleep when two of the housemates forgot to wake her up before doing their mundane work.

After the wake-up call from Bigg Boss, we find Lobo feeling bad about his role of being the Servant and taken advantage of his behaviour. Lobo ends up thinking he isn't cut out for this show as it restricts his freedom.

As the day passes, the Power Room alarm goes off for the last time and Hamida ends up slamming her hand on the scanner. As she gets called in by Bigg Boss, she gets asked to pick a name who won't be able to become the captain of the house for the entire season. Hamida chooses Shailaja Priya.

Upon telling the housemates about the same, Shailaja becomes upset about this. Hamida assures Priya that she picked her name to "motivate" her.

The Power Room task comes to an end, and Siri, Hamida, Vishwa and Maanas get appointed for the captaincy task. The task is to paddle the cycle continues and whoever does it for the longest time without giving up becomes the captain.

Kajal disrupts Vishwa and Maanas's cycling and gets them out of the game as a part of her "strategy" which doesn't sit well with Sarayu. Eventually, Hamida's cycle also malfunctions, and Siri lasts to become the captain. After being appointed as this season's first captain, Siri starts assigning managers for the tasks in the house.
